'BACK IN BLOOD' TOUR 2010
HUNGARY, BUDAPEST, WIGWAM
22.01.2010
After already known Zagreb-Budapest route, filled with dose of winter avanturism in combination with sudden train change, impossible communication with Hungarian railway's staff in every language and freezing in early hours of the evening at snowy railway in one Hungarian town well away from Budapest, we finally arrive in Hungary's capital. That is why i am not surprised with that adrenaline rebellion when excited breathing is threatning by straight like on EKG. But the excitement should be locked till tomorrow and start the joy of Budapest's end of January night.
We add, in the end of day two, „The 69 Eyes on European tour“ ingredient and that definitelly is the winning card. And once again i refill the scenario with milions of reasons why are those few days of the year filled with northen vampirism on Helsinki way a med for the rest of the year, more or less spent in daily routine. Or at least till Gibonni's tour which follows a bit later, but that is a different story.
A way to, cowboy-alike Budapest's Wigwam club really lasted....tram, then another tram and driving throught newly discovered face of Hungary's capital. And here we are, right below the stage with first riffs of title song from their current album „Back in Blood“ band comes to the stage and my heart whats to burst from my chest of excitement. Because 'Blood IS the new black!'. In following hour and half of energetic play Finnish five amazed everybody because with „Never Say Die“, „Lips Of Blood“, „Gothic Girl“, „Susperia Snow White“, „The Chair“, „Kiss Me Undead“, legendary „Wasting The Dawn“, „Feel Berlin“, beautiful „Hunger“ and rocky „Perfect Skin“ and „Dead Girls Are Easy“ as well in the encore with „Brandon Lee“ or „Lost Boys“ managed to remind the great rock'n'roll audience on all of their phases of their career, rich with vampiric blood.
But still, the major thing about the The 69 Eyes gigs, and so this one in Budapest's Wigwam is incledible amounth of positive energy and hot picture where band and the audience managed to achieve in this hour and half which flies faster then a blink. This time, after years of waiting, till – Zagreb! Unbeliveable!
